Looks like a fun gun, but nothing as to the accuracy. Maybe a write up with different ammo?

Love the 1911 for years. Looks like another to love.

Someone who knows should show him how to hold it properly. .

Craig Boddington is a retired marine w/20 +years of active duty. He does not need to be told how to hold any firearm
Including a smaller version of one of his favorite pistols,T 1911

Mr Tripper
If Craig Boddington is a retired marine w/20 +years of active duty then he, if anyone, should know that you NEVER point a weapon at ANYTHING that you do not want to see destroyed. As a firearms instructor with over 30 years of gun handling experience it chills my blood to see at about 13 seconds into the video that Mr Boddington turns the weapon towards himself and sweeps the barrel across his own face. Anyone with a single day of firearms instruction with know never to do such a foolish thing.

Hopefully it’s not made of pot metal like some of the other .22 1911′s recently introduced.
It also needs a threaded barrel for suppression.

I am 69 yrs old and have been shooting since age 6. There are many ways to hold a handgun. I for one do not want to get my left hand anywhere near the muzzle when it goes bang.

Only he can know how safe the pistol is at that moment. Yes he screwed up in handling it, but how many of use have at one time or another. Too bad it wasn't caught before this segment ran. Oh, well…

I have a GSG 1911-22 and I am thrilled with it. Outstanding ten ring accuracy at 25 yards from a rest. Try several brands of amm to see which are most accurate and function best. It likes high velocity. Federal Gold medal, Winchester high speed, remington high velocity and thunderbolts all shot to 10 ring accuracy. Wolf, CCI mini mags and standard velocity did not. Blazer failed to cycle. Those are the only ones I have tried.

The colt Umarex is a first class weapon works perfectly and seems to be of high quality .It is made by walther in Germany and imported by Umarex no pot metal here.It shoots to the ten ring every time no malfunctions I highly recommend .All parts are the same as a standard 1911 and functions the same as a1911 including remaining open on the last shot.
See the umarex web site for pictures although it does not do it justice you need to see it in person, also check out 1911 .org web site the have a good review of it .
