Purchased one prior to my CHL class and love it...handles nicely, compact and extremely lightweight, accurate up to 20 yards, excellent price through an online gun shop also...looking forward to carrying. Of course, if you live in California, it's illegal, keep that in mind.

I got tired of junkers and clunkers and went ahead and bought one. Now I have a gun worth keeping, an heirloom, a piece admired by the other shooters, a grouping I can't blame the gun on, a piece I can carry AND use at the IDPA shoots, and all the above. When I first got it, it was a nightmare. (The extractor wasn't tuned right.) Nighthawk paid shipping both ways and I never had another bit of trouble with it. Its a Ladyhawk. She's my sweetheart, and I love her.

Are you a Machinist for the Ford corporation or what? Look at it again!! The Dial Calipers that he is using only graduate to .001... That is a standard industry Dial Caliper, Last time I checked, reading to the nearest 0.0001 required a Micrometer.

I like Clint. I enjoy his movies and I like the "take no BS" attitude he projects.

But Eastwood would probably be the first to tell you there's a huge difference between Hollywood and government. In Hollywood, you can rewrite the ending with a flick of a writer's hand.

Government is more difficult.

When it comes to understanding what America REALLY needs, where the problems REALLY are and what we must do to solve them, no candidate surpasses Ron Paul.

Actually, no other candidate even comes close.

This election you have a choice between mirage and reality. Between fairy tales and cold reality. Ron Paul doesn't hand out warm fuzzies. Like Clint, he tells it like it is.

The only two questions are: Can you handle the truth and do you love your Country?

If so: Vote Ron Paul.

Many years ago I lived in Monterrey, CA. While there I had a chance to shoot at a very nice range up in one of the nearby canyons. I was told by the fellow who invited us there that the range had been built by Clint Eastwood and James Garner after the local council refused to approve utility hookups for a housing development they wanted to build on that land. They decided to build the shooting range instead because a) it wouldn't need the council's permission (no utilities), and b) it would seriously annoy the council members!

I have the 9mm, ordered 2 extra mags from the factory- $15 each, total of $30. I stopped by a local gun shop, and they told me they have some mags for the Hi-Points, but the older mags don't have the last shot hold open feature.

A 9mm is perfect for self-defense? A 9mm carries more rounds for a reason. I carry a 1911 concealed. It's a small enough hand gun my brother-in-law who is only around 5'6" can shoot it with his little hands no problem. In fact, he liked it so well he bought one. The 9mm can be as reliable as you want, but if the bullets don't do anything to stop the bad guy, what does the reliabilty do? Stopping power. The 9 will do wonders if shot in the head, but in a "self-defense" situation, who the hell is going to take time to aim at the head? The chest is a bigger target AND at the right height. A .45 will knock you off your feet if you're hit with it.

Question,
If you build a M-7 Remington in a 30-30 can you safely shoot more power? I know that the 30-30 is about 30 or 40K but new guns go at about 50 or 60k. Or is the brass just not designed for this pressure?
Thanks

I have the 310 20 ga. The comb is very very high and I can't get my head down enough on the stock to line up with the sighting plain. Shooting over the target every time. It isn't like all the other shotguns I own. The stock feels weird to shoulder. All I see is rib. Friends shot it and had the same problem. I'm going to trade it for a Stoeger 20 ga.
