Champion has done it again. The company has updated its popular Wheelybird auto-feed trap. The new Wheelybird 3.0 features a removable stack holder that holds 60 clay pigeons at a time, a more rapid 1.5-second cycle time, angle adjustments of 0 to 30 degrees, and a throwing range of 75 yards. It has a 25-foot-long foot pedal release and is compatible with the Wheelybird Wireless Remote (sold separately) that allows the shooter or a companion to launch clays with a click of a button. Convenient transporting is assisted by wide-base wheels, a molded handle, the battery storage cart, and a built-in cord wrap. According to Product Manager Laurie Kokoruda, “The new Wheelybird 3.0 builds off the tried-and-true designs of previous Champion throwers and packs plenty of features for both casual and dedicated shotgun shooters. Anyone looking for a durable yet lightweight automatic thrower will surely be impressed with the speed and convenience of the Wheelybird 3.0.” Approximate weight of the Wheelybird 3.0 Auto-Feed Trap is 50 pounds. It requires a 12-volt, 30 AH battery (a deep-cycle type is recommended).
