One of Ed Brown's new-for-2003 rifles is the Model 702 Denali, a lighter weight rifle designed for mountain hunting. The barrel is Match-grade handlapped and precision chambered and available in a 23-inch lightweight No. 3 contour barrel or a 22-inch superlightweight No. 2 barrel. The Denali is available in .25-06, .270 Win., .280 Rem., .30-06, 7mm Rem. Mag. in long-action calibers and .22-250, .243, 6mm, .260 Rem., 7mm-08, .308, .270 WSM, 7mm WSM, and .300 WSM in short-action calibers. The stock is a fully glass-bedded McMillan fiberglass sporter with cheekpiece, checkering, and recoil pad. A super-thin forend and slender grip make the stock lightweight and fast handling. The Denali includes Talley scope mounts with heavy-duty 8-40 screws, an Ed Brown Custom action with machined steel trigger guard and hinged floorplate, and a three-position safety. Weight is approximately 7.75 pounds. Prices for the Denali start at $2800. For more information, contact Ed Brown Products Inc., Dept. ST, 43825 Muldrow Trail, P.O.
