Spotting Scope / Eyepiece Sets Introduced By Leica
By Press Release
PHOENIX, AZ-- Two new APO, Ultra Premium, Spotting Scopes, made by Leica in Germany, are being introduced to the Hunting and Naturalist Markets. The APO-Televid Spotting Scopes offer the finest imaging possible. The new 82MM and 65MM have newly designed apochromatically corrected optics, utilizing four Fluorite Crystal (FL) lens components in the 82 and 65 MM Scopes that transmit 6% more light, delivering the highest possible image resolution and brightness of any spotting scope series currently available anywhere. This results in the finest detail resolution in dark, near-twilight conditions that are critical in many naturalists and trophy hunting situations.
The new spotting scopes also come with the new, remarkable 25-50 WW ASPH, Eyepiece that delivers a bright, wide angle, 60-degree subjective field of view, in either the 82MM or 65MM scopes. The new Televid APO Scopes are shorter in overall length, making them handier to carry and operate. This is especially valuable when using the scopes for Digital Photography using the available Leica Digital Photo Adapters.

The ability for the scopes to focus as close as 12 feet or less also makes exciting, close-up, digital photography easily possible. Both scopes are available as straight or angled bodies for the eyepiece based on the users need and style of viewing. Both the scope bodies and eyepiece are nitrogen filled and sealed, making them waterproof/submersible to a pressure depth of 5 meters. All exterior lens surfaces have AquaDura coating for surface protection and ease of cleaning in dusty or wet conditions.
