Trijicon’s new DI Night Sights are designed for personal defense, law enforcement, and professional shooters who, according to the company, “want maximum visibility in any lighting condition.” DI stands for dual illumination.
These sights feature the industry’s first user-replaceable fiber for easy in-the-field installation. The fiber is chemical- and heat-resistant and finished with the same proprietary technique as Trijicon’s famous ACOG.
Coupled with the innovative fiber optic is a tritium lamp that’s protected by an aluminum sleeve and capped with a sapphire jewel for maximum durability. The dual illumination technology amplifies collected light for an ultra-bright aiming point in any light condition (daylight, low light, and even complete darkness).
The fiber optic and the tritium vial are held in place by a sturdy housing machined from solid steel, and the threaded, black steel retainer on the front sight allows users to quickly replace lost or damaged fiber pieces. The sights come with a 0.078-inch green fiber preinstalled, and two extra green fiber replacements are included. Users can customize their DI Night Sights with up to 16 different fiber and retainer color combinations, including green, red, amber, and orange fibers with white, orange, and yellow Cerakote steel retainers.

The rear sight uses tritium inserts to provide a rapid sight picture in low-light situations while promoting front sight focus in daylight. It also features an enhanced hook design to facilitate single-handed slide operation. Currently, DI Night Sights are offered for select Glock, SIG SAUER, Smith & Wesson, and Springfield Armory pistols.
MSRP: $150
