At the Range: Ruger LC9s

Ruger-LC9s_9mm_F

Introduced in July, 2014 as a companion to the double-action only (DAO) LC9, the Ruger LC9s combines the look and feel of its predecessor in a single-action striker-fired package. RELATED: Ruger Introduces LC9s

The LC9s maintains similar dimensions to the LC9, therefore both guns are compatible with the same holsters, magazines and accessories. However, the biggest difference between the two is the crisp, 5.5-pound single-action trigger pull of the striker-fired LC9s.

Folks who prefer the traditional feel and performance of single-action polymer guns will be right at home with the LC9s. At 17.2 ounces, this gun is a lightweight and portable option for concealed carry, while delivering 7+1 rounds of 9mm.
