Burris has expanded its top-of-the-line Veracity hunting riflescope line with new 2-10X 42mm and 3-15X 50mm RFP (rear focal plane) models.
Designed for versatility, the 2-10X 42mm (shown in the photograph) offers low magnification for getting on target quickly and a top-end magnification of 10X for reaching out farther when needed. Shooters wanting to shoot at extended ranges may prefer the 3-15X 50mm model.
As I mentioned, both new Veracity riflescopes feature rear focal plane reticles. The specific reticle is Burris’s Ballistic Plex E2 that’s calibrated for traditional or magnum and varmint cartridges. A rear focal plane reticle (also known as a second focal plane reticle) is more traditional and keeps the reticle clearly visible and the same size in all magnifications.
Users can order a custom interchangeable MAD adjustment knob system for these scopes. It allows shooters to use knobs that are custom calibrated for any bullet trajectory, thereby permitting shooters to quickly dial in the exact yardage. Shooters also have the option of operating turrets in an uncapped tactical style.

Both models are built using the Veracity line’s proven rugged mechanical design and 30mm tubes. Premium lens coatings provide optimal light transmission and true color rendition. Additionally, side parallax adjustments allow for fine-tuning focus at 50 yards to infinity. These scopes are covered by Burris’s Forever warranty.
MSRP: $719 (2-10X 42mm); $875 (3-15X 50mm)
