Hornady Gun Safe Dehumidifiers

Hornady Gun Safe Dehumidifiers
Canister Dehumidifier, MSRP: $20.84

Hornady is offering a bunch of new products that go inside gun safes, and the dehumidifiers are particularly interesting.

Everyone knows that Hornady has been manufacturing quality RFID gun storage lockboxes and security vaults for a long time. And most readers probably know that Hornady purchased the SnapSafe company a few years ago and has continued to supply those fine, innovative gun safes that the customer puts together himself. Now Hornady is offering a bunch of new products that go inside those safes. The items include gun racks and hooks, lighting solutions, and products to help eliminate humidity. I find the dehumidifiers especially interesting.

Hornady-Gun-Safe-Dehumidifiers-1
Digital Hygrometer, MSRP: $18.33

Hornady’s canister dehumidifier protects your firearms against rust and corrosion and has an indicator cap that changes color when it’s time to recharge the unit. Recharging is easily done by placing it in the oven.

Hornady-Gun-Safe-Dehumidifiers-2
Rechargeable Dehumidifier, MSRP: $21.31

The digital hygrometer displays high/low readings for temperature and humidity in Fahrenheit or Celsius on a large touchscreen. It can be mounted on a quick-connect bracket on the interior (door or wall) of your safe or vault room or simply use the fold-out stand.

Hornady-Gun-Safe-Dehumidifiers-3
12-Inch Dehumidifier Rod, MSRP: $17.51

The rechargeable dehumidifier absorbs humidity and prevents rust and mildew in gun safes and other enclosed areas. Moisture-control crystals change color when they need recharging, which is accomplished by plugging the unit into a 110V electrical outlet.

The electric 12-inch dehumidifier rod is maintenance-free and mounts vertically or horizontally with snap-on brackets. The cord’s plug can be removed so that the cord may be inserted through small holes or openings.
