Hornady Handgun Hunter Ammo - New for 2020

The new Hornady Handgun Hunter ammo is crafted for hunting many different types of game.

Hornady Handgun Hunter Ammo - New for 2020

Hornady's new ammo cartridge, the Hornady Handgun Hunter, is built around the MonoFlex handgun projectile. The projectile features a copper alloy that achieves deep penetration and 95 percent weight retention for maximum impact. Hornady adapted their GMX and MonoFlex rifle bullets to fit the handgun platform.

The MonoFlex bullet's open cavity contains elastomer material that compresses upon impact and pushes out, causing rapid expansion. The bullet expands faster than a typical hollow point bullet design.

The Hornady Handgun Hunter ammo cartridge is offered in multiple chamberings. Among them are 9mm Luger +P, .357 Mag., 10mm Auto and .454 Casull.
