The new .177-caliber Stoeger X-Series air rifles were developed by Italian engineers and designers and are powered by a break-action, spring-and-piston mechanism. Full power is achieved with a single stroke of the muzzle-mounted cocking handle.
The rifles feature two-stage triggers, red fiber-optic front sights, fully adjustable rear sights with green fiber-optic inserts, ambidextrous automatic safeties, and rubber buttpads.

Stock options include hardwood, matte-black synthetic, or Advantage Timber camo synthetic. Scope combo packages are available with factory-mounted 4X32mm or 3-9X40mm adjustable-parallax scopes.
Four models are offered with barrel lengths ranging from 16.5 to 19.7 inches; overall lengths range from 43 to 50 inches. Muzzle velocities are rated at 800 fps for the Model X5, 1,200 fps for the Models X10 and X20, and 1,500 fps for the Model X50.
