Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced Review at Gunsite

Remington 1911 R1 EnhancedIt may not sound like much of a challenge, but 500 rounds fired in the dusty high altitude of Paulden, Ari., at the famed Gunsite Academy is more than enough to break-in a pistol, and the hardcore training only adds to the probability that something unusual will occur at the most unlikely moment. Recently, Eric Poole and Jason Teague set out for a Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced review at Gunsite, firing Remington's newest handgun for an entire week with no cleaning, no oils and hopefully no malfunctions.

Poole fired the first 490 rounds before grabbing his video camera and handing off his Remington to Teague to fire the last 10 rounds. The 500th round was captured on tape. Would the Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced keep running? Find out in this exclusive clip.
