The new Evoke rifles from Christensen features, excellent accuracy, and very reasonable retail prices. For example, the new Evoke Hunter, which is the subject of this report, is priced at $998.99, and it’s chambered for some very popular hunting cartridges, including the hot-off-the-press Federal 7mm Backcountry. Other chamberings offered in the Evoke Hunter include 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7mm PRC, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, and .300 PRC. The other Evoke models include the base-version Evoke, the Evoke Mossy Oak, and the Evoke Precision. Chambering options for those rifles include .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, 7mm Remington Magnum, .30-06, and .350 Legend, depending on the model. I haven’t gotten my hands on the other Evoke models, but as near as I can tell from the company’s website, the main differences are in the type of stock each version wears and the barrel-length options.
