SIG SAUER Academy Offers SIG Experience to Benefit Active Heroes Foundation

SIG SAUER Academy and TEAM SIG Captain Max Michel are offering a personalized "SIG SAUER Experience" in an online auction to benefit the Active Heroes Foundation.

"At SIG SAUER our commitment to the men and women of the Armed Forces never ends. Ensuring that our veterans and their families have services readily available to them to address their needs is a priority for everyone here at SIG SAUER," began Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc. "Through this collaboration between the SIG SAUER Academy and Max Michel, we aim to raise awareness for veterans' issues and bring additional financial support to the Active Heroes Foundation."

The online auction includes an event filled day with seven-time World Speed Shooting Champion and Team SIG Captain Max Michel for a SIG SAUER Factory Tour in Newington, NH, a luncheon, followed by a private afternoon training with Max Michel at the SIG SAUER Academy in Epping, NH. Bids for this unique experience are being accepted through Saturday, June 9, 2018 at matchreg.com/afz/auction.

"As a U.S. Army Veteran I have seen first-hand the many challenges that our soldiers and Marines face when they return home. The Active Heroes Foundation has a mission of ending veteran suicide and their work is making a real difference and saving families," added Max Michel, Team SIG Captain. "These are America's heroes, we honor them, we support them, and we are committed to ensuring the Active Heroes Foundation has the resources to provide our veterans with the services they need following deployment."

The Active Heroes Foundation provides physical, educational, and emotional programming to assist veterans and their families that are reintegrating following deployment and/or suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
