  • To date, more than 5,000 newcomers have participated in First Shots seminars at 84 ranges.
  • Fifty percent went on to meet their local requirements for handgun ownership.
  • Forty-six percent have spent an average of $783 on shooting equipment in the six months after their introductory seminar.
  • Ninety percent of First Shots ranges have continued to host additional seminars, becoming ongoing "recruitment centers" for new shooters in their community.
